About Me
Hi! I’m Heather, your compassionate health and wellness coach.
The anguish when facing trauma, health challenges, or chronic pain is real. Life can feel upside down without support or direction. I know what it is to be lost, stumbling through something you don’t understand during the darkest times.
My Journey
In 2018, I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, a year after being dismissed and unheard. Symptoms were excruciating and debilitating.
“You’re just getting older.” — I was only 42, active and healthy. These were far more than simple aches and pains.
I was alone in figuring out how to manage symptoms.
What do I eat when everything seems to cause flare-ups?
How do I go to work when I can’t move, and exhaustion is too much?
How do I explain when everyone says, “You don’t look sick.”
The toll an illness can take on mental and spiritual health can be even greater than the physical pain.
Through the years, moving from grief and frustration to patience and grace, I have learned to heal my body, my gut, my mind, and my heart.
I found my way to health coaching and vowed to use what I have learned to help others. No one should have to navigate their journey alone.
